I have decided to post a topic about my kitten, because I can.
Her name is Pineapple, she's a year and a bit old (not really a kitten, I guess, but still...), and she's black, with short, fluffy fur, and black tabby stripes which can only be seen in certain lights (I can't see them at all (*pops out prosthetic eyes, cough cough*)). Anyway, her eyes are sorta greenish yellow, and all shiny and sparkly. She's really sweet and cuddly, but only when she wants to be. (Fortunatley, that's almost always.) She loves to play, too, and her favourite toys are things that are fluffy.....SHE LOVES FLUFFY THINGS!! She had these fluffy toy mice that she loved so much to bat around, but she lost them all. She likes running around like crazy, rubbing her face on things, meowing at the top of her voice for NO reason, and putting on the "Starving Orphan-Kitty" act. Despite her love of anything edible, she's pretty teeny (not unhealthy teeny, but just really tiny in general) and I think that's because she's always playing with toys (and my hair) and because she was the runty one in her litter. She has a really loud purr, she gets happier around music for some reason. Oh, and she LOVES WATCHING TV, VIDEO GAMES, AND CLIMBING ON THE I-PAD.
We got her from a friend who's cat had kittens. (We got her because us kids begged and pleaded.) She likes sitting on my shoulder or my back if I bend down for any reason. She also likes sleeping on my braille books, but ONLY THE PART I'M READING. IF I START READING A DIFFERENT PART, SHE DECIDES SHE MUST MOVE THERE INSTEAD.
She is fascinated with garbage trucks and squirrels.
She was friends with Odie, the rabbit we had; she would curl up in his cage with him and lick and cuddle him (I think because he was fluffy.) But sadly, Odie passed away a few months ago, and she actually seemed depressed for quite a while. She really hasn't been the same since.

Really bizarre name for a cat, but she sounds cute.

I'm really surprised she got along with the bunny though. Bunnies are prey animals, and cats are natural predators. This explains why even a tame cat will often catch and even kill mice, or will chatter at birds through window-glass. That said, she'll probably get over his death eventually, but I'm not too surprised to hear she's a bit upset over it, hasn't been the same and all that. I've seen dogs and cats do this when another member of the household is gone. They sometimes do it with people too. After my ex was here for about a month in 2014, my cat Theo wandered around and cried for awhile because he couldn't find her; her smell was on my couch, on my chair, in my bed, all over the house probably, and she just...wasn't there anymore. He was still a kitten at that stage, mind you.

I agree that Pineapple is a bizarre name. But, the other cat, who we adopted from a home who couldn't keep him, was named...wait for it...Bun Bun.

Oh, and I think Pineapple is part Ragdoll.
Bun Bun has extra toes and is all black and he has anxiety and chews his fur out when my mom's...boyfriend....leaves the house. He has a super squeaky mew, and he's a very sweet cat most of the time.

Awe such a cute adorable kitten and yes i agree I've never heard a cat with that name, that name bun bun made me laugh and yes cats can go searching for those they have a good bond with whom leave and i remember when Whitefangs brother fluffy went missing he was searching for him for quite some time but then he stopped and became the king of the house.
I've seen a cat do that eating its hair and reason being they are stressed.
I have a ginger and white cat with a stripy tail and he has a loud purr but also makes noises when he sleeps, lol, grins.
His name is wishes but i call him wishy.
Yes their is a type of breed of cat that has 6 toes on each of their paws and I've also seen cats with no tails too.
There are those whom like to play more than others as some just like snoozing and going outdoors like mine does.
I did like your story aobut you cat and you never know it could like the fruit pineapple, lol, grins.

Rachel, my 1st cat, was sad, when her pal passed. I couldn't comfort her, to save my head. LOL
Miracle, seemed to help Rachel calm down. However, now that Rachel is gone, Miracle is wonderfully content to be by herself.
I think Rachel needed more, because, her kidneys were failing her. I also think she was concerned for me. She really seemed compassionate.

Awe poor kitty and miracle is a nice name for a cat and my sister's cat clayton loves being indoors as he is an older cat and likes to lay in front of the fire when it is on and he is a bit like a mare cat because if he is outside and wants to come in he will tap his claws on the glass of the door and he also does this thing which is funny, he will sit in front of the door and meow so you open it but then he runs away and not out the door and will do the same thing when outside and wants to come in which makes me laugh and he drinks out of a wine glass and his eyes will go cross eyed but he is a lovely cat, smiles.
